DRAM Command Rate: 2T

DRAM Timing Control: Manual

CAS# Latency: 4

RAS# to CAS# Delay: 4

RAS# Precharge: 4

RAS# Activate Time: 12

All the Rest of the Advanced Timins set to "Auto"

DRAM Static Read Control: Auto

AI Clock Twister: Auto

Transaction Booster: Auto

CPU Voltage: Auto

CPU Voltage Reference: Auto

CPU Voltage Damper: Enabled

CPU PLL Voltage: Auto

Boot to the Memtest CD and allow for two full passes.

Shut the system down. Remove the second stick of dram. Leave the stick that is in Slot 1 (Closest to the CPU).

Restart and Memtest. Allow for two full passes unless you error. Remove that stick, insert the second one in its place and repeat.

Results?

Hello,

I did the test:

with one stick memtest went into error, while with the second stick memtest ended two pass of test without error, but goldmemory continues to generate errors even with the stick that seemed to be healthy memtest.

The ram is defective or no?

Where is the problem..:sigh!:

Thanks

GoldMemory has been found to not be the best memory testing software program. Do not post Goldmemory tests here. Post only Memtest (Downloaded from http://www.memtest.org) version (at the moment) 2.01

If you have one stick passing in Memtest v2.01 and the other stick failing in Memtest v2.01, then I would say that you would do well to proceed to RMA. You will need to send back both modules as they are a kit and a kit must be sent back to you.

Hello,

I changed other two kits memories, always the same model, but even now all the 4 sticks of ram generate errors with memtest + 2.01.

Possible that the problem stems from?

The configuration under test is as follows:

Asus P5E WS 0507 Pro bios

2 kit 2x1048 Twinx XMS2 DHX 4-4-4-12 rev. 2.1 (total 4 quarters)

Mitsumi floppy disk 1.44 / Alps

Gainward 8800GT 512MB Golden Sample

NEC DvdRW 4750

Ali Corsair HX620W

Thx
