CMC_SAVAGE
Since you've spent all that money on a decent system, why skimp on the RAM? It will work but won't do that system any justice. If you want to stick with the 3200, tthe XMS Series would run a CAS 2 as opposed to the 2.5 of the value select. The 3700 would be a good choice. It has higher latencies but is much faster and leaves room for OC'ing.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 15, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 15, 2004 Yea, really! I would agree with CMC! I would suggest Twinx1024-3200LL with this MB and CPU. Don’t get me wrong our Value select is a great module, however they are not as fast as our XMS! It’s kinda like getting a getting a Cadillac with a V6 instead of a V8!
