TimC
Ram Guy, Looks like the Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX2 is going to require an 8 pin connector. (more juice !!)$$ With one 9800 GX2 card (250watt??) and my current system, hopefully, the 620 HX will be sufficient overclocked at 3.0ghz ? (E6600) Here is a link that mentions 8pin: http://www.legitreviews.com/news/4481/ I am a bit ahead of the launch but just want to confirm the 6 + 2 pin connector will be sufficient for the new card. Thanks Tim.
EliteKiller
Rumors around the internet are saying the delay is because the card puts out more than 250W and board partners need more time to develop better cooling solutions. It appears that it will require both the 6-pin and an 8-pin PCIe connector.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 19, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2008 The HX620 should have no problem powering one of these cards.
