CoolermasterKid
Ram Slot 1 CMX1024 DDR2 6400 Ram Slot 2 Ram Slot 3 CMX1024 DDR2 6400 Ram Slot 4 Setting in BIOS are 5 5 5 5 12 Bios settings are as follows: FSB 400 CPU Voltage 1.400 DRAM Frequency DDR800 Everything else is set to AUTO Boots ok but gives this message at the bottom of the BIOS Not enough space in Runtime area!!. SMBIOS data will not be available. This came only after upgrading from E6600 to the E8400, the E6600 was okay using the 1605 BIOS. Any idea what this means and how to fix it? Would it be better to run TWIN2X2048 6400 C4DHX??
bigbuck08
Is the 1605 the latest BIOS for your board? I know Asus released a new version to support that CPU for my board. Make sure you have the latest BIOS.
CoolermasterKid
I tried reflashing the bios and loaded the same 1605 bios and not CPU-Z can now give the correct info but the message still remains. Computer has ran for three days now and not one reboot or problem. Still no one can tell me what this really means or how to fix it. There is no newer bios from Asus either. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 19, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2008 It is either the BIOS or CPU-Z might need to be updated, have you checked with CPU-Z to see if there is anyone else reporting that problem? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 21, 2008 Thank you for letting us know, but I suspect this will be corrected with the next BIOS and or release of CPU-Z.
