l3ullets
Hi I currently have installed on my Asus P5B Premium VE. BIOS DATE: 07/13/07 VER: 08.00.12 My O.S is 32bit. DIMM1: Corsair XMS2 CM2X1024-6400C4DHX DIMM2: Corsair XMS2 CM2X512-6400C4 DIMM3: Corsair XMS2 CM2X1024-6400C4DHX DIMM4: Corsair XMS2 CM2X512-6400C4 Originally I just had the 2x512 modules and all was fine. Windows now reports that I have only 2GB of RAM. I am not too sure how to set the timings, especially the voltages, manually. The 4-4-4-12 is easy enough but thats as far as I can go. Any help would be much appriciated. Here is the info reported by CPUZ:- http://www.imagehostdirect.com/images/l3ullets/cpuzmemory.jpg
bigbuck08
I wouldnt recommend mixing RAM. I would just take out the 512MB modules and just run with 2GB. It will cause less problems and unless your using Photoshop or other RAM needed apps, the extra GB wouldnt really do much.
Garvin
It looks like CPU-Z is able to see the 3GB of RAM, so you may just need the Vista patch.

Does thsi mean the memory SDRAM clock is at 800mhz ? CPU-Z info is :- http://www.imagehostdirect.com/images/l3ullets/cpuzmemory_1.jpg Thanks for your help.
