System: e8400 Asus P5E updated to latest bios 601 Corsair memory modules: Neither one of these 1G sticks (cost $279.00)will permit a post. I get a black screen. Dominator XMS2-6400 1024MB 800MHz 3-4-3-9 This 256MB stick for $15.00 will post: CM2X512-5400C4 4-4-4-12 675MHZ. Any help appreciated! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 16, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 16, 2008 You should load setup defaults and then set the memory Voltage to 2.4 Volts and then exit the BIOS saving changes and before it starts to boot turn it off and the install the other module.
