spldoc
I previously had a bad stick of TWINX2048-3200C2. I am running 4 Gb of this ram in my pc. RAMGUY got the original faulty sticks replaced in this thread - http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=317656 . Over the last week I've started having the same issues as in the previous post. I've narrowed it down to the other set of original sticks. The new replacements run fine at 2-3-3-6 at 2.75 volts, but when the original set is added in with them I get the blue screen of death or my pc won't post at all. I swapped the original set into a second test pc with the same results. I am in need of an RMA for the other original set of ram. Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 14, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 14, 2008 It is very unlikely that both modules would fail at the same time. To help troubleshoot, I would suggest testing the modules individually in the same memory slot. If one of the modules fails and the other works, then we will need to replace both of them for you. However, if you get errors with both of them, that would usually suggest some other problem. If we need to get the replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
spldoc
Correct. Only 1 stick is bad, but as they come as a pair I will need to RMA both sticks. RMA request was submitted 2/18 with no response as of yet. Thanks for your help RAMGUY, you guys always go above and beyond to take care of your customers.
