bminnig
I have used the memory configurator and found that the twin2x4096-6400c5dhx will work. I do not need 4 gigs of ram can I substitute the twin2x2048-6400c5dhx instead?
Wired
Corsair Memory for the Intel DQ35JO I believe so, but I'm not 100% sure, so i've asked Ram Guy to confirm this.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 13, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 13, 2008 I think that is not correct as that MB I do not believe will let you set the memory Voltage and if not you could only use Value Select or the part that was suggested or Twin2x2048-6400C5DHX. pengo
I think that is not correct as that MB I do not believe will let you set the memory Voltage and if not you could only use Value Select or the part that was suggested or Twin2x2048-6400C5DHX. On my DQ35JO and a Q6600 i now have 4 gigs (2x CM2X2048-6400C5DHX). As i am working with lots of virtual machines i need to upgrade to 8GB. Will I have any problem if I buy another 2 6400C5DHX ? http://www.corsair.com/configurator/product_results.aspx?id=294078 It says here that the only memories that work with dq35jo are 6400C4DHX (not true since i am using C5DHX and they work fine) but the maximum memory is 4GB. Also Intel says that this mobo support 8 gigs. So ... does anyone knows if another two C5DHX will work on my system ? Thanks in advance. Alex.
