La_Puce
My old PSU has finally died and due to my trusted supplier of PC bits having some good deals on Corsair PSUs' at the moment I was wondering which if any would be suitable for my mobo , I am buying a Sapphire 3850 GPU which as I understand is quite tame in its power requirements and I will only be running the one so any help would be appreciated , I originally had my eye on the TX650w but have heard some less than flattering reviews so am now thinking about an HX of some sort , will it be compatible with my 24 + 8 pin mobo , any help will be muchly appreciated :)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 12, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 12, 2008 Any of our PSUs will be compatible with your system, even the VX450 would power your system easily with just one of those video cards. If you are looking to get modular cables then I would suggest the HX520, however if you think you may be adding/upgrading video cards sometime in the future then a HX620 would give you plenty of headroom to do so. La_Puce
Thank you for your prompt reply , I will go with the HX520 as I have a good price on it , if only other support forums were as quick I may have more hair .
