Hamrdeye
I recently purchased an Asus P5K3 Deluxe motherboard and the corsair TWIN3X2048-1333C9. I have the Q6600 G0 revision. I have not yet messed with overclocking anything as of yet, but I want to. My initial problem is that my RAM is no showing as dual channel. It is in single channel mode. I installed the RAM according to the MB manual in bank B1&B2. These are the 2 banks side by side and the farthest from the CPU. That is where the manual said to install them for dual channel mode. I have flashed the MB to the latest available from ASUS. Can someone help me get this memory in dual channel mode? The system is running great other than that. Wired
Try a different slot configuration, see what it shows up as.
Hamrdeye
Ok, so the motherboard manual is either wrong, or not easily understood. This motherboard as 4 slots. They are orange, black, orange, black. The manual states for dual channel RAM to install them in the second set of slots (orange and black). I installed them in just the orange ones and walla.. RAM is no daul channel. Thanks for the reply Wired!
