Grnfinger
Hello if this is in the wrong spot at this point and time I really do not care I purchaed 2 Corsair products on November 13/07 The reason I bought them was because they were offering a mail in rebate wich made the price alittle more reasonable. Items purchased were... XMS Domiator 2GB PC8500 ram 620HX 620w tripple power supply So I have recieved a confirmation email excellent right?.... I callled a month later to see whats the delay and was told not to worry it was in the process of the cheque being mailed. Today I called ( not 5 mins a go) and was told there is NO information based on the information I supplied. This is bull**** for lack of a better word, Corsair is a respected name and I have never bought another brand of ram. So one would think buying from a respected company would remove any doubt. Well I can tell you I will NEVER buy from Corsair again. I visit ALOT of forums and I can promise if anyone will listen I will share this experience with them. I am very dissapointed I really thought that it was a legit rebate, I personally think you guys at Corsair are assholes and you can take your rebate and shove it up your ***! I jumped through all the hoops and yes I have a copy of everything besides the upc codes. Regardless of who handles the rebates you are still offering them and YOU are still responsible, Why do you choose to pass the buck? The correct response would be .... OMG this is unacceptable, lets get this thing resolved
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 9, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 9, 2008 OMG this is unacceptable, lets get this thing resolved. I agree and did you contact our customer service? You failed to answer that part. But you sure made a point to insult us as a company and me personally. Honestly I dont care about that as much; as I know we as a company are not like that. But you to have some responsibility especially if you are going to start calling us names. So did you call our customer service? If you did I am sure they would do their best to help you. If you did not try to contact us then I am sorry I think you are out of line with your statement. My appologies of course I called, I always try every avenue b4 I start a nasty thread... It has been my experience the skweaky wheel gets the greese. I am supposed to dl new rebate forms from the web and send a photo copy of my reciept in again to start this process again... I'm not finding that response overly acceptable. So send in everything to be rejected because I have NO UPC codes and thus void any chance of a rebate. Its not the money for christ sakes, its about being accountable......put yourself in my position and forget who you work for and I think you would be frustrated and anoyed just like me. And I do believe I started my post with a positive statement about Corsair
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 9, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 9, 2008 Grnfinger I do understand your frustration and again I am sorry that happened but as I said we do not handle rebates directly they are setup with the reseller through a third party at the time of a sale. And I have have been taken personally by this type of rebate thing my self so I do understand. I lost 100.00 USD on Two Sony Phones a few years back and Sony just said sorry call the rebate company there is nothing we can do. I think if you read my replies to users on this forum you will see I usually do everything I can to resolve any issue no matter how unreasonable it might be. If yes then they will need to have something to process that. We are a big company and they will not just write a check for anything with out a reason. Sorry but that is how it is with any corporation. Every thing is accounted for. If it was from the rebate company please try what they suggested and document the call to our customer service and if it is not taken care of in a reasonable amount of time call our customer service back and ask to speak to supervisor. I am sure they will take care of it.

I am sure they will take care of it. I will give Customer Service another chance at resolving this issue, for my first try was not overly productive. There are a few of them that are quiet rude, imagine the nerve of ppl calling to inquire about a rebate. First I would like to say this was not a personal attack towards you. I can appreciate that your are limited from what you can do to help. Your advice is noted and I will try every suggestion, I have started a few polls on forums and granted they do take a very long time to process ppl are actually getting the rebates, ( have yet to get a reply stating NO REBATE ) so I am optimistic. ascialli
I submitted my rebate in November, exactly on time, with everything required. After 6 weeks, I contacted the rebate center and was told (very politely) that 1. They never received it, 2. They only accept originals, 3. The deadline had passed, and 4. There was nothing they could do. Well, of course, if they require the originals and then "lose" them, and if they require you to wait 6 weeks before making an inquiry (so you are beyond the 21 day deadline), there will be nothing they can do. Corsair, it is time to get another contractor to handle your rebates. This one is making you look very bad.
Yellowbeard
You have revived a dead thread from 2008. I'd say 1 complaint in this thread since 2008 is a pretty good track record. Read the posts above. If you have an issue, we'll help you just like we did this person 4 years ago.
asherx
I had the same thing just happen. In December I bought two corsair products, both had mail in rebates. I sent both out at the same time. Here we are over six weeks later and I just got off of a chat session with the rebate company. “Galia: Since we did not receive the original information, we only can process the rebates with copies. Unfortunately, without copies nothing can be done. My apologies for that”. I sent out several rebates during that month and have received confirmation from all except Corsair. Corsair should look into the company they have handling their rebates or they should clearly state on the rebate form to make copies of the UPC because many are lost. The funny thing is when I purchased these products the casher made this comment “Corsair hum, good luck with this rebate”.

asherx
I will be contacting Corsair with this. The problem lays with “Parago” the company that handles these rebates. Last year I bought a new cell phone with a mail in rebate and “Parago” was the company handling the rebate as well and guess what?????? They never received that one either????? What are the odds?? Like I said on my first post, Corsair should take another look at the company they have handling their customers. We buy your product because we like your products. Bad service chases people away. Remember not everyone goes on these forums; some will just never buy your product again because of this.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 26, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 26, 2012 We are sorry that happened to you and we will bring this to our Product and Marketing managers to review, I assure you if any contractor is not taking care of our interests they will not be working with us very long! I would suggest working with our customer service if you have not already done so!
