Cable
Hello, I have a HX520w power supply that I just purchased. Since the first time I turned it on for the first couple minutes it'll have a clicking sound come from it. Itl gradually gets quieter and then goes away. It seems to do this after the computer has been shut off for a while and turn it on for the first time, a 'cold' start I guess you could say. Obviously I don't believe this is normal???? Just wonder what course of action I should take. Also just to note, there's nothing sticking into the unit touching the fan, and the fan does seem to spin constantly. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 8, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 8, 2008 From the thread posted above: Use a non-conductive item to stop the fan from spinning to see if the noise stops. If so try loosening the 4 fan screws a little bit.
