JaCulop
I have been using this RAM since Sept. 07 and for some reason it has never ran in Dual channel mode, but will run in Single channel just fine. What would happens is my computer would randomly crash usually within the first 5 minutes. I read through the forums and downloaded Memtest86 and tested each stick individually for 2 passes with no errors. When I tested both sticks in dual channel I had 124 errors in 1 pass failing tests, 5,7,8. I was wondering what I should do? RMA? Also if I RMA do you all take my credit card number send the new sticks and let me send my current sticks back when I receive the new sticks, since my current sticks are semi working? Thanks. BTW this is a total of 2 gigs for clarification.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 7, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 7, 2008 Set the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts and set the TRC to 24 and set the Command Rate to 2t Mnaually and see if it will pass http://www.memtest.org. But make sure you have legacy USB Disable when running http://www.memtest.org.
JaCulop
Ok I tested that. No errors on test 5 but on test 7 I got about 64000 errors, so I just stopped it since the test was not progressing any further. I changed all the settings you have said. JaCulop
Is there anyway that I can keep these while you all send the others by giving a credit card number? Would I have to call in for that or is there a place I can email someone.
