RMA question

I have your QUAD2X4096-8500C5DF ram, and one of the sticks suddenly just went bad on me. Can I return two of them (a good stick and my defective stick), and treat it as if it were a TWIN2X2048-8500C5DF? I really can't afford to be totally without RAM (and thus, a functioning computer) for the length of time that a RMA would take.

I would recommend getting a QUAD kit as a replacement, as they are tested in a "4-up" configuration, however you will need to contact our customer service to find out what options might be available.
