MarlboroMan
I just ordered two 16GB Flash Voyager drives (CMFUSB2.0-16GB) from NewEgg and both drives have issues with the caps for the drives. Both caps are loose and don't fit the drive well at all. Is this a production issue that has since been corrected? Can you replace the caps on both of these drives with caps that will better fit the drives? All I can tell you by way of comparison is that I have a 4GB Flash Voyager and the cap does not fall off the drive when I turn it upside down, but the new 16GB, the cap just falls off the drive. I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed by this. I Emailed support to have the caps replaced, as everything else with the drives is good. cvo
Just a word of advice, I'm sure they get a multitude of emails each day and they're probably a back log. I've been having some problems recently (unrelated to yours) and I've found the best way is to call up customer support. 888-222-4346 ext 3 I think. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 5, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 5, 2008 Just dial "0" is all you have to do. After you dial 888-222-4346 of course!;): And I would agree the spam mailers have been really bad the last 6 months or so; so I am sure some emails are getting blocked by our spam filter. Marlboroman, could you let me know if the caps send is the solution? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 22, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 22, 2008 The cap may have just been loose I am sure a new cap will solve that. Please send an email request to jackflash@corsairmemory.com along with the size and model of your drive and you name address and phone number and they will send you a new one.
