aframe
I ordered a pair of 512MB64MX64PC-3200LLPT that are not twinx. I am going to be using a P4C800-E deluxo mobo. When I get this setup, is there a way for me to figure out if Corsair would grant these the twinx rating with a test program? Should I send these back and get a twinx pair? When I ordered the memory they were out of stock of twinx so I just picked up the single sticks... Thoughts? Andrew

aframe
BTW: Is there a way for me to figure out with a program if they would be qualified as a twinx pair? Now, if it doesnt work can i swing by your office to exchange them for twinx? Im in fremont as well ;) Andrew
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 11, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 11, 2004 Andrew, First off, I am sorry, as we do not sell direct and do not have a retail outlet. If you want to change to a Twinx set, you would need to arrange this with your reseller. However, I would just test the system with www.memtest.org and make sure it is stable! aframe
From this thread, you still havent given me the merits of twinx. Is it stability? Is it performance? Is it both? You told me that memtest can test the stability. If it comes back as stable does my pair of sticks have the quality to be slapped with a twinx rating? If it also includes performance how can I test the performance of my pair? Andrew
