zarg0n
Ok, i guess this problem isn't as unusual as i thought, but here goes. i use windows vista 64bit, and have been using : "Corsair XMS2-6400 TWIN2X2048-6400 5-5-5-12 Xtreme 2x1024MBDDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz with Heatsink" with my asus p5k mobo for a while, and thought it was time for a upgrade, so i bought a pack of the same memory, but when i use 4gb with vista, i get bluescreens all the time, ive tried to temper with the ram voltage, i've tried everything from 1.9 to 2.2, with the same result, i guess 2.0 or something was the sweet-spot, i got bluescreens every 30mins or something, so, any tips? the rest of my specs is above
bigbuck08
Have you tested the new RAM by itself to make sure its working? If so, then try setting the DDR speed to 667.
zarg0n
nah, haven't got around to that yet, but if they work in 667mhz, is it worth it, is 2GB at 800mhz better than 4gb at 677mhz? anyway, so, 677mhz and 2v?

bigbuck08
I would see if they are stable at 667 first then try overclocking to get some of the DRAM speed back.
