Wired
Asus A8N-LA looks to be from an OEM computer. Look up the computer's model name in the Corsair Configurator and see what it recommends for your computer. Most likely the memory is just fine, but XMS memory isn't recommended for most OEM computers.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 4, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 4, 2008 Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard and then load optimized defaults and set the Memory Voltage to 2.75 volts and test the modules individually. If one of the modules fails and the other works, then we will need to replace both of them for you. However, if you get errors with both of them, that would usually suggest some other problem. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 5, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 5, 2008 That is an OEM MB and will not support these modules unless it will let you set the memory Voltage to 2.75 Volts. Please look up your system on our memory configurator. Not the model of the MB and then get the modules that are suggested for your system.
