esc1
I don't see this ram listed for possible rma. I searched but didn't come up with any reason for this memory to not be listed. I have two of these and they are testing very bad in Memtest.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 31, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 31, 2008 Those modules have not been in production for more than three years is why they are not listed. Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?
esc1
Abit NF7v2 and AMD XP 2500m. The ram has actually been underclocked at 200mhz fsb. I have tried each stick independently. Both generate massive errors in memtest as soon as it starts testing. It had been running fine for years.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 1, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 1, 2008 Please make sure that you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard and then load optimized defaults and set the Memory Voltage to 2.75 volts and then test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! Please allow memtest to run 2-3 passes on each module. If you still get errors, we will be happy to replace them! What do you have the CPU running at? I would recommend testing with the CPU at default settings to make sure the CPU is not causing the errors!
