Duke999R
G'day Corsair, I have the same situation outlined here http://www.asktheramguy.com/v3/showthread.php?t=64193,. Unfortunatly the suggested fix did not work for me. In the mobo manual (which I only read properly after purchasing the second twin pack ) Gigabyte states Because of chipset limitations, do not populate both DIMM sockets of the same channel (e.g. DDRII1 and DDRII2) with double-sided memory modules to prevent system's failure to start or incorrect detection of memory modules I would appreciate a recommendation of which ram would suit my system to give me 4gb. My mobo is not listed in the Configurator. Full specs in my profile. TIA, Peter.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 31, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 31, 2008 The only part that I would suggest I do not think that MB will support as it is suggested running the memory at DDR667 with 4 modules on that chipset.
