DerekT
Are you sure you saved the settings in BIOS? Check and see, then post your CPU and Memory tab here. Use http://www.photobucket.com if you don't have a graphics upload site.

DerekT
If you have set 4-4-4-12 in the BIOS and it saves, with the system maintaining 5-5-5-18, then clearly you have an issue with your mainboard. Try this. Set your DRAM speed to 1000Mhz and 5-5-5-15. Boot to Memtest. Results?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 27, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 27, 2008 I agree it sounds like the settings did not get saved or maybe you did not change them properly. You can call our Tech support if you like and we will be happy to talk you through them, but I would try the user manual in section 4 first. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 27, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 27, 2008 Wait I think things are getting confused. What exactly are you trying to do? Run at DDR800 with 4 modules??? If you are and the system in stable with these settings I would leave them alone. Cas 5 at DDR880 4 up is pretty good.
