Smash88
Hey everyone. First and foremost. I've got these RAM's. RAM I BOUGHT (CLICK HERE) Says 4-4-4-12 in the description. But CPU-Z says this: http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/2475/cpuz2bs0.jpg I think that says 5-5-5-18? TWIN2X2048-6400C4 PC2-6400 2GB Kit 4-4-4-12 240pin DIMM TWIN2X2048-6400 PC2-6400 2GB Kit 5-5-5-18 240pin DIMM Gotten from the Corsair website. I have the C4 version, I understand that the 6400 (without C4) is 5-5-5-18. But mine are 4-4-4-12. I just built this computer, is it underclocked? I also don't understand this table? http://aycu14.webshots.com/image/41973/2001614100986781012_rs.jpg The same is for Slot #1 and Slot #2. How do I set them to what the specs are supposed to be? Thanks in advance.
Yellowbeard
Look in your manual and you will find the bios chapter. It will tell you how and where to set these values. Make sure you manually set the RAM voltage to 2.1v. The memory is designed to boot at the stock settings the MOBO has for compatibility. This is normal.
