Geeky1
Does TWIN2X2048-6400 work with asus p5e-vm hdmi MB? Your compatibility calculator doesn't even list the P5e.

Geeky1
Ok, wasn't sure if P5E was inclusive of P5E-VM HDMI - I guess they are referring to the entire family. Thanks, I can now order the memory and MB knowing it should work.
Wired
Not sure if it is inclusive, but it probably is safe to get the same memory. Check the chipsets, if they're the same, then you should be all set to go, but to be safe, I'd wait for Corsair's response.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 29, 2008 For the -VM versions I would suggest VS2GBKit667D2 as most of the Value based MB's may not have the Voltage adjustments and if not our XM2S modules may not run properly. I have the "TWIN2X2048-6400 G" on my P5E-VM HDMI. What are the timings and voltages for these DIMMs. My system is working fine except sleep mode recovery (Vista Home Premium 32bit) and ASUS asked me to change memory to check but I don't have any extra DIMMS. Are they 100% compatible? This board though a mATX have settings to increase VDIMM >2.1 volts.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 27, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 27, 2008 I would set the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts and they should be compatible.
burito
Yehey! I have no more problems with sleep. ASUS sent me new bios 0502.
