speaknice
Hi All This my Pc Kit & BIOS Setup : Pentium Duo Core (E2160) 1,800 GHz (800MHz FSB) ASUS P5N-E Sli Mobo Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 G Memory (2 x 1 GB (DDR2) Paired Modules) Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler GeForce 8400 (256Mb GDDr2) Graphics Card EZCool (650W) Power Supply Current (Stable) BIOS Setup: A1 Tuning = Manual NB PCIE(MHz) = 100 Voltages: VCore = Auto Memory Voltage = 2.085v NB Core Voltage – Auto VCore Offset Voltage = Auto Memory Clock Mode = Unlinked FSB Memory Ratio = Auto (Greyed Out ) FSB (QDR) = 1240 Mem (DDR) (MHz) = 800 SLI- Ready Memory = Disabled CPU Multiplier = 9 CPU Internal Thermal Control = Auto Limit CPU ID MaxVal = Disabled Enhanced C1 (C1E) = Disabled Execute Disable Bit = Enabled Enhanced Intel Speedstep Tech = Disabled Memory Details: I’d like to mention after much ‘Forum’ Info searching, a little luck and a wealth of Advice I’m now able to use my DDR2 paired Memory in either the ‘Yellow’ or ‘Black’ Paired Slots as they were meant to be used !! This was not the case on 1st Build (Only worked in Banks A1 & A2 ) All 2GB were recognised but only as ‘Single’ in CPU ID program !! Now all OK Id’d as Dual and Passes Stress Test in MemTest86 and suffers PRIME95 x2 (100% CPU Loaded) all day !! I’ve achieved an OC to 2,750 GHz and am pleased its all Stable and agood % OC But I know many of you out there have easily exceeded 3,000GHz Can anyone suggest improvements to my Mobo/Bios Settings to reach the 3,000GHz OC without Breaching Warranty Limits or killing any of my Kit. I’ve read many Forums on OCing and my brain is now amess with OC info so if anyone can help clear some clouds/cobwebs with suggestions or Settings please fire away. Thanks All from a 1st Time (UK) Nooby !!! Posted here also to possibly help other Frustrated 'Like' Mobo/memory Sufferers !!! Long Live Forum Folk' !!!
