RandomGuyOMG
(Not sure if this is the right forum, so sorry if it isn't.) Well, UPS just delivered this like.. 45 minutes ago, and I already broke it I guess lol.. I plugged it into my USB drive, it popped up and installed the software. Then I tried to create a folder, and it said I couldn't so I was like "okay?" and unplugged it. Then plugged it back in, same notices basically popped back up (New Hardware found etc..), so I went to my computer, and opened (F: Removable Storage), and saw the folder it said I could not make in there, so I deleted it, at that time it said I couldn't delete it and the window closed. Now, when I plug it in, it keeps making the USB connected device, it shows up for a few seconds, and then it makes the USB disconnected noise, and goes away. And It keeps repeating this over, and over when plugged in, and the light flashes non-stop. I went to the support but didn't see anything about this problem, although I did try restarting my computer, and forgot to remove the device so my computer didn't wanna boot. But,.. yeah. Any ideas? :(:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 25, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 25, 2008 Please try to format the drive from a command prompt with this syntax: Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager) If you still have problems we can get it or them replaced, please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! K, I'll try that.. I wasn't going to decide on whether or not to contact about replacing 'till my brother in law got home, he's more computer sabby than me, so I figured if he can't fix it, then I will. But, Thank You. RandomGuyOMG
Problem fixed, this was weird. When I typed that thing in command prompt, it didn't do anything (I don't think). So, I plugged it into my sisters laptop (to try and do it there), and it installed, and asked if I wanted to reformat, so I did. Now it's working. Thanks a million.
