Player1984
Im trying to Oc my computer with this settings given me by DerekT a while ago, they used to work but now for some reason they don't. ASUS Striker Extreme 4 Gb Corsair Dominator (1066) 8800 gtx OC2 water cooled with a zalman water block Q6600 G0 Version ----------------------------------------------- Download and install the 1303 BIOS. I have had friends lose their overclock stability with newer flashes. Then they come back to me and I tell them not to flash unless they call me. Multiplier = 9 FSB = 333 DRAM = Unlinked and set to 667Mhz Memory Timing FSB - Memory Clock Mode: Unlinked CPU FSB: 333 CPU Multi: 9 DDR FSB: 667 tCL: 5 tRCD: 5 tRP: 5 tRAS: 15 Advanced Memory Settings tRRD: Auto tRC: Auto tWR: Auto tWTR: Auto tREF: Auto Async Latency: Auto CMD: 2T CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled MCP PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled SATA Spread Spectrum: Disabled LDT Spread Spectrum: Disabled CPU Internal Thermal Control: Enabled Limit CPUID MaxVal: Enabled Enhanced C1 (C1E): Enabled Execute Disable Bit: Enabled Virtualization Technology: Enabled Enhanced Intel Speedstep Tech: Enabled LDT Frequency: 5x PCIEX16_1 Frequency (Mhz): 101 PCIEX16_2 Frequency (Mhz): 101 PCIEX16_3 Frequency (Mhz): 101 SPP<->MCP Ref Clock, Mhz: 201 -- Voltages -- Vcore = 1.30 - 1.35v Vdimm (DRAM Voltage) = 2.2v 1.2v HT: 1.3v NB Vcore: 1.35v SB Vcore: 1.50v CPU VTT: 1.30v This will give you 3.0Ghz and you can test the overclock with Prime95: ftp://mersenne.org/gimps/p95v253.zip You have set your DRAM low to exclude it from the overclock as a variable in stability. Test at 3.0Ghz for ~8 hours. After Putting all the settings given and save and exit, my screen just turns off (like sleeping and the light just blinks) so i force restart to see if i can get something going and nothing happens. So i have to click on the CMOS button on the motherboard to erase it and then it works (with the default settings not oced). When i was trying to make the oc settings work i looked at the striker LCD poster to see what error was giving me, so i read DET DRAM ERROR(im guessing somethings wrong with the RAM settings or Voltages) anyway with stock settings ( at 800 not running em at 1066) the 4 gb ram works flawlessly, so anyone knows how to fix it DET DRAM ERROR?? and how do I make these settings work so i can OC it?
