htpcorsica
Hi RAM guy, I was wondering if you could tell me if PC-5300 will work in my notebook IBM Thinkpad Z60M 2529-FKG as it is faster. Are the operating voltages the same as PC-4200? IBM list PC-5300 as compatible under memory but the specs list PC-4200. Many thanks Make:IBM Thinkpad Model:Z60M Chipset: Processor: Manufacturers Part Number:2529-FKG Memory capacity desired:2GB

htpcorsica
Thanks wired for your help. So i take it that PC2-5300 would not work in my notebook as the configurator says PC2-4200? Thanks
Wired
Well, that's the only memory Corsair guarantees that will work with it. If Lenovo says otherwise, then Corsair may need to confirm this and update the configurator.
htpcorsica
Thanks once more wired! I've just ordered two 1GB rams. that i hope will make my notebook work better as it seems to always get overloaded and then starts to dump. sometimes applications freeze for 5 secs or so.
