Recommended Posts

Hello

A few days ago i started getting blue screens. So thinking it was a possible problem with RAM I ran MEMTest and with in a few seconds of starting the program i got errors left and right. So I took out that RAM and swaped it with a friends and no errors showed up.

The memory I was running was a pair of CM2X512A-6400

I belive I need a RMA

Thanks for your time

Josh

Make sure you have the memory voltage set to 1.9v (+.1v on Gigabyte) and then test the modules individually. If one module fails and the other passes, then we will need to get the set replaced, however if both of the modules are failing there may be some other problem, and I would recommend testing them in a different board to be sure.

If they need to be replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
