ChibChombo
Problem I'm having is, my system freezes randomly when I use 4 GB. I took out 2 GB and left 2 GB in both black slots, no freezes, I updated Bios on the Motherboard, rebooted and put in the other 2 GB, froze the first time it loaded windows. How can I fix this? Do I have to higher the timings? Please explain to me
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 22, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 22, 2008 What version of Windows are you using and did you try and set the memory Voltage to 1.8 Volts and set the MCH/NB Voltage to +.05 Volts.
ChibChombo
I have Windows Vista 64 Unlimited, also I was just reading ASUS site, it seems the Asus P5E3 Deluxe motherboard has problems running with 4 GB of 1800MHz ram, it apparently is not possible to run it unless you use 2 GB or lower the 1800MHz to 1600MHz, any idea? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 24, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 24, 2008 That is correct, if you install 4 modules you may not be able to over clock to run the memory at 1800 Mhz.
