smartacus
I recently bought the 1GB kit of 2x512 184-pin DDR DIMMs and installed them on an ASUS P4S800 mainboard. Other components on the machine include: Maxtor 80GB IDE HDD (brand new) Lite-On DVDRW/CDRW combo drive ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB AGP video card P4 2.8 HT processor Are there any known incompatibilities here? I can turn the system on, but my monitor never activates. I've verified that all the connections are secure and the fans hooked up. Video card seems to be running...does this mean I'm using the wrong RAM?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 11, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 11, 2004 Seems, I heard some issue with 8X AGP card with this MB, do you have a PCI or 4X AGP video card you can try? In addition, I would test the modules in another system, if possible!
