cis_kid Posted March 10, 2004 Share Posted March 10, 2004 big problem ram guy and anyone else who can help me. i got xms memory on a chaintech motherboard, and the memory is supposed to be set as 2-3-3-6. however, in the bios, the third speed (2-3-[COLOR=Red]3[/COLOR]-6, can be set no lower than 6. ??????? what am i to do. if i try and improvise the speeds, my system locks up. if i leave the speeds set on auto, it locks up. i would accept any e-mails and comments to helpme out. thanks.
