Karas
Hi there, I think I have a problem: I can't get the ram working at 1066Mhz O_o I have the q6600 g0 processor, so: 266fsb (default fsb) @ 2:1.00 (1066mhz), manual latency 5-5-5-15-2T (other options auto), vdimm 2.1v.. it crashes with prime95 blend test.. on large fft (1024k).. Or.. 266fsb, voltages auto, latency by SPD.. at 1066mhz bsod.. Or 266fsb, vdimm 2.1v, latency by SPD.. at 1066mhz.. bsod xD .. I tryed many configurations.. like this one: ABIT IX38 QuadGT OC GURU: CPU OPERATING SPEED................ - USER DEFINE EXTERNAL CLOCK..................... - 266MHz MULTIPLIER FACTOR.................. - x 9 ESTIMATED NEW CPU CLOCK.......... - 2394 MHz DRAM SPEED (CPU/DRAM)........... - DDR2-1064 (2:1.00) PCI EXPRESS CLOCK.................. - 105MHz VOLTAGE CONTROL: CPU CORE VOLTAGE................... - 1.3125V CPU Core Voltage Offset............ - 0V Target CPU Core Voltage............ - 1.3125V DDR2 VOLTAGE....................... - 2.100V CPU VTT VOLTAGE.................... - 1.20V MCH 1.25V VOLTAGE.................. - 1.35V ICH 1.05V VOLTAGE.................. - 1.05V ICHIO 1.5V VOLTAGE................. - 1.50V DDR2 REFERENCE VOLTAGE............. Karas
oh lol.. I think I found it... it's one module that's corrupted with that module alone I get a BSOD.. with the other one alone it works @ 1066mhz too... RMA.. :) But I have another question, It's possible to receive the new module while sending this one ? because I need 2gb, and I see there are a lot of problems with the pc2-8500 ram (stock side).. I mean.. i don't want to be with only 1gb for months O_o thanks EDIT: forgot, for RAM Guy (?), I have purchased the ram at digitec.ch an online swiss store, how does it works with the RMA ? i have to do it with the digitec shop, or with you directly ? becuse I live in switzerland, but at digitec.ch they say new ram comes the 2nd of february.. and another thing, I have to send both modules ? I have a bad feeling (= PC off for weeks..) :P
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 21, 2008 It may be easier for you to have the modules replaced by your reseller since you do not live in the U.S., however if you have any problems then please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
