LJYARPE
I have been running two sticks of corsair ram for a while. I was running one stick of CMX1024-3200CPT for a year till I purchased another corsair CMX1024-3200PT and it has been running fine for two weeks till I started having weird problems while windows was loading, to never loading windows by freezing in the loading screen. Once I removed my CMX1024-3200CPT my computer loaded windows and everything was fine. My question is, am I eligible for an RMA? I have had this stick for a little over a year and never expect it to crap out on me
LJYARPE
I have both of them in again and my windows is loading and working . I don't know exactly whats the problem but I'm pretty sure its ram related.
LJYARPE
Right now I have the timings set at 2.5 3 3 7. Is that correct? because both of these sticks have different timings..
LJYARPE
Any help with this issue? my windows does not properly load up every time I turn on my computer. It sometimes takes 3 minutes to get to the start up screen where you pick your user name. And sometimes I don't have to wait.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 21, 2008 Make sure you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard, then load setup/optimized defaults and set the memory voltage to 2.75 volts. Test the modules one at a time to see if you are having problems with a particular module, or if there may be some other issue.
LJYARPE
I changed the DDR voltage to 2.75 but it says 2.5 in cpu-z.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 22, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 22, 2008 I would trust what the BIOS says.
