Error with RMA

Deathspine

Recommended Posts

I was shipped a different model of memory with my recent RMA. Below is the communication I had with the RMA service.

I have another pair of TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF and was planning to have a total of 4 G, the 9136 will not work with the other pair. Any chance we could check the stock again, as the obsolete memory is available online with dealer like Newegg. Thanks, Corsair RMA has served me will in the past and is one of the best companies to deal with as they standby their products with the lifetime warranties.

Hi,

We didn’t send you the part that you had originally sent to us

As it is an obsolete part now. That’s why we sent the 9136

You may also keep the fan.

Thank you,

Package arrived today, I immediately notice a new fan was included, I did not return a fan but thanks. I will gladly return the fan as I am requesting a RMA of my RMA. I did not receive a replacement of the above memory instead a received a pair of 9136C5D; the CAS 5 1143MHz. I was expecting the 8888C4DF CAS 4 1111MHz. Could I received a RMA number for my RMA? I was so much looking forward to installing my fast RAM.
