Stefan87
Hey guys, it's my first post here. I am running 4x 1024 sticks(4x CM2X1024-6400C4DHX) on the Asus P5N-E Sli mainboard. I have tried to set manually the 4-4-4-12 configuration and to start vista. But at the vista loading screen I always get a blue screen... So I tried it with 3x 1024 sticks and the same configuration and it is working fine... With 4x 1024 sticks and the auto configuration it is also working, but i think the sticks don't run with full speed? bye, stefan Edit:I have installed the newest bios update. Yoxxy
You need to increase CPU VTT/FSB Termination and NB voltage. 1.40v for all 3 should do the trick.
Stefan87
Thank you! But I want to use all 4, so 1.40v for all 4 sticks?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 17, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 17, 2008 There is only one setting for the CPU VTT/FSB Termination and NB voltage, I think you might be looking at something else. And the memory voltage should be set to 1.9 Volts to 2.1 Volts max.
Stefan87
ok, thank you!! but I still have problems with it! sometimes it's working and then on the next day I can't run vista at all with 4 sticks.. Here you can see what I have tried: tCL 4 tRCD 4 tRP 4 tRAS 12 Command Per Clock Auto and then I have tried following memory voltages: -1.920V -2.013V -2.085V and 2.178V I haven't tried yet, because it's over the 2.1V... My CPU is a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6660 and the auto FSB is 1066,7! Do you have any other ideas I could try? Thx bye, Stefan
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 22, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 22, 2008 I would suggest 2.1 Volts and set the memory frequency at DDR667.
