Paolo
Hi guys, first time poster, long time lurker :D:. Ok,today i got myself the PSU in thread title,i would appreciate some clarification, mainly just to put my mind at rest.At the moment i am using the regular 4 pin connector to the Asus Mobo.On the Mobo the socket that takes the 4 pin has another 4 covered by a plastic cap, am i correct in thinking that the other cable that is hard wired into the PSU (with the 8 Pins) can be used instead of the one with 4?.I hope i`ve made that clear enough, cheers Paolo

Yes, you can use the 8-pin EPS 12V connector.
Paolo
Great thanks. What are the benefits of using the 8 rather than the 4 ?
EliteKiller
EPS12V used to be exclusive for dual cpu socket motherboards, however with today's single cpu socket boards it offers better stability for the mobo and components that are 12V heavy. In some cases it could help with an overclock.
