cinno
I have a 1GB flash voyager usb stick which i have used at my university computers, but when i tried it at my home computer it says that it's not formatted and asks me if i want to format it.I can't access it at all. Anyone know what the problem could be? Is it broken? Thanx.
cinno
I've also tried the program "PC Inspector File Recovery" to recover any files, but the program doesn't start searching for any files. When it scans and finds the flah drive it gives the message "bad parameter in boot sector: Bytes per sector (0) = 0!"
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 9, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 9, 2008 Please try to format the drive from a command prompt with this syntax: Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager) If you still have problems we can get it or them replaced, please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 10, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 10, 2008 I am sorry we do not offer a data recovery option or service but if you need to recover some data there are some third party utilities available that may help you if you have some data you need to recover from this site. If you still have problems, let’s get it replaced. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
