deep
got my Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5DF recently. I have following config Q6600-SLACR P5W-DH Deluxe (Bios 2406) Powersafe 400W PSU nVidia 7300GT Transcend JetRAM 667 2GB (1GbX2) this works perfect and i can OC the ram to 800 without trouble. BUT :mad::mad: with my new corsair, system does not POST at all, with whatever settings ive tried. voltage (2.2V), SPD, NO-SPD (5-5-5-18-2T) no luck so far. i have tried single stick and both sticks together. no luck. system does not POST at all. if i use 1 Transcend stick with one Dominator stick, then i do get POST, but system freezes during POST. (before identifying RAM i suppose) ive read number of posts where P5W-DH Deluxe seems to be running this ram. can someone help me on this please? im pulling my hair since last few days
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 9, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 9, 2008 You cannot mix memory if that is what you are trying to do, and I would try it will just one of our modules and then clear the MB BIOS with the CLRTC jumper and then see if it will post, if not remove that module and try the other one.
