Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 7, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 7, 2008 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and load setup defaults and then set the memory Voltage to 2.0 Volts then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure one is not failing. If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test. .

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 7, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 7, 2008 Yes those modules will work fine with that MB do you get any errors in memtest? If not what is the problem you see in Windows? If you are getting a BSOD error what is the errors code? And do you have the latest BIOS version installed? When it arrive to boot with 800Mhz, it work without problem and it's great, but it boot not all the time. With DDR at 800Mhz when I push the power button : - the ventirads works, but black screen... anything work or - the PC boot, but I have the message : "Overclocking Faild", press F1 to continue or F2 to load default bios. If I press F2, the PC works (not always), but If I shut down the PC, I have the same problem again. (I specify I have never modify bios, just to modify the boot sequence  ) My bios, when I received the MB, the bios were 0403, I do the update with the 0604 (last bios), and I have always this problem to the boot. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 8, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 8, 2008 For sure you need a bigger PSU and the problem you have described would suggest a power problem.
