setting memory timings on a ECS nForce3-A

Hi there.I was hoping I could pick your collective brain. My motherboard bios has got memory related settings that ive never really understood, and so far the internet hasn't helped me relate them to what ive come across before.

Im trying to change my memory timings to 2-3-3-6, which i understand to be CAS/:tRCD/:tRPD/:tRAS.

Problem is that this is what im looking at in my bios: CAS (Tcl) /: 1T/2T /:Read Preamble value /: Async Latency Value.

Theres's also 'memclock index value (Mhz)'. not sure what that does, is it part of the 2-3-3-6?

So given this, how would you go about setting up my memory?

Many thanks -Michael

edit: thought id enter more info.

'By Spd' settings are

Cas 2.5

1t/2t 2t

read preamble 6

async latancy 6

This is all my bios will let me change, and everest tells me this is my memory timing: 3.0-3-3-8. Changing the last to values above to 5.5 and 7 respectively result in a CMOS clearing....
