idra
Hi all, I have new pc with gigabyte ga-ma790fx-ds5 motherboard with athlon 64 x2 4000, I installed 2x1024 (CM2x1024-6400 1.90V Ver 7.3 ,800 MHz, 5-5-5-12), when I boot I see that the system see 2GB of ram but he says : 800MHz, single channel, 64 bit. I put in slot 1-3 and try 2-4 but he see it only in single channel, in the bios I can't set single or dual channel, he has to take it automatically. Have some of you suggestion? thanks
Wired
Try 1 and 2, or 3 and 4. Single / Dual channel operations is not a setting that you control in the BIOS; it's set by which slots the memory is in. I've also posted your system specs in your profile. You can edit them here: http://www.asktheramguy.com/forums/profile.php?do=extra
idra
Yes...on slot 1,2 works...... on the manual was written how to put the memory for dual channel and they say 1,3 or 2,4 ,and that channel 1 are slot 1,2, and channel 2 slot 3,4. but now it works....thanks a lot
