Ice Tea
Just bought 3 x 1GB voyager flash drives and 2 of them give the exact same read /write speeds as each other but the 3rd is alot slower and takes 2mins longer to fill the drive and it benchmarks slower too ? Is this normal or am i entitled to a replacement ? Thanks

Ice Tea
Great stuff thanks RAM GUY On the back of the packets that the drives came in is a Corsair bar code sticker and each one is different , Does the drive need to be sent back in it's original package or doesn't it matter as i'm unsure how to tell what one was in what. ? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 8, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 8, 2008 No its not important, but the lot code is on the metal end that should match the lot code on the package.

Ice Tea
Unless the pen drive becomes slow again i can't send it back as at the moment as it's working and i can't tell what one of the 3 pen drives i bought was the slow one I thought i'd benchmark it and paste up screenshots here for you to see but when i tried it the slow drive is now giving the same read/write speed as the other two but i got called away to a telephone call and when i got back i could not remember the order i had left the pen drives in  Not sure why it was slower maybe there is a dry solder joint but i've bench marked all 3 repeated times since yesterday and they are all working ok. Abit of luck it will stay ok.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 11, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 11, 2008 Hard to say, maybe just a system issue or glitch. But if you have problems again we will be happy to replace it.
