Best timings for my Bios TWINX1024-3200LL

Recommended Posts

I just purched my TWINX1024-3200LL memory and have my xp2500 (locked) overclocked to 2.0ghz (181x11), what are the best memory settings to set using this memory in my bios for good performance and stability. I would like to reach (200x11) however if I increase the FSB further my system becomes unstable. I still need to adjust the Vcore.
A 2500 should hit 200 without problems. Do you have updated chipset drivers and BIOS? Anyway the RAM should run 2-3-2-6 with a speed that matches your CPU's FSB. Try running both at 350MHZ to start, and slowly work up from there.
I am running BIOS 21 and the current chip set drivers for the NF7-S R2. Right now I have my timming set at 2-3-2-6. Can you clarify what you mean by runing both at 350MHZ? Thanks
cl2T, command rate 1T tight - 2(tRP) - 3(tRCD) - 11(tRAS) moderate - 3-3-11 loose - 3-4-11 if you have v1.2, give the ram no more then 2.7 (usually doesnt need past 2.6)
What do you mean by Tight. Moderate and Loose and can you please tell me what the Bios setting should be, as I am also using an Abit Board. (I have no idea what tRP, tRCD.... mean). Sorry, I am a bit of a Noob - however, quickly learning!
