cameraman
What is the recommended timing and voltage settings for an Intel D975XBX2 with 4 gb of 8500C5D Dominator? Ram Guy had recommended the settings many months ago and the system has run will but after a recent OS install I can’t remember what they were. I'm not looking to push the envelop but what to get the best stable performance. Thank you.
cameraman
I remember 4.0 - 4 - 4 - 12 (2.12) but would like confirmation. Thank you.
Wired
http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/TWIN2X2048-8500c5d.pdf 2 GB timings are 5-5-5-15-2T @ 2.1v, so 4-4-4-12 would be incorrect. I'd try the afforementioned timings, see how it goes.
cameraman
I seem to remember Ram Guy had recommended 4.0-4-4-4 12 at 2.1v 800MHz for 4 gb vs. the JEDEC standard 5-5-5-18 values at 800MHz documented in the link you provided on the Intel D975XBX2. Ram Guy, can you comment?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 10, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 10, 2008 That MB will not support DDR1066 and for sure will not over clock to DDR1066 with 4 modules. You might get it to run at DDR710 4 up.
