ajy0903
Hello. I have several questions about, "Flash Voyager 8GB: CMFUSB2.0-8GB". I have read and searched about USB Booting, formating and installing the operating system, using "Flash Voyager 8GB: CMFUSB2.0-8GB". But, I still have some question about that concerns. Here are some question. 1. Basically, can I make using "Flash Voyager 8GB: CMFUSB2.0-8GB", to use as USB Bootable Device or drive or whatever it is called? 2. If question #1 is possible, can i format the "Flash Voyager 8GB: CMFUSB2.0 -8GB" as NTFS partition? 3. If question #2 is possible, can i format "Flash Voyager 8GB: CMFUSB2.0-8 GB" as NTFS and install any version of Windows XP OS and boot the pc using "Flash Voyager 8GB: CMFUSB2.0-8GB" ?[/i][/i] Thanks for reading this. I really appreciate you reading this. Thank you.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 7, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 7, 2008 Yes, No, Not really suggested. You can format the Flash drive with NTFS but the DOS O.S. will not support booting with a NTFS file system. You can try and set the Flash Drive as a HDD in the MB bios if its supported and then install the O.S. on the flash drive. But it would be slower than molasses.
