David111
Corsair CM2x1024-6400C4 2.1v ver2.1 4-4-4-12 800MHz, 1024MB XMS2-6400 I tried installing two modules in Dimm-A1 and Dimm_b1 but the mod generally fails with leds of 'memory detection test'. I tried a spare dimm PC2-4200 and the mod posted ok into bios. I tried upping the voltage to 2.1v, replaced the corsair modules and it eventually posted (after 4 fails) 'the previous performance of overclocking is failed'. Tried again and back to led problem Will the combination work? Thanks David
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2008 Is this the P35 Neo2-FR? If so what is the CPU and its FSB that you have installed? And have you tested the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org.
David111
Sorry yes the P35 version and have installed an Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 S775 2.66ghz 4mb Cache 1333FSB. I will try memtest but have also tried installing memory modules individually in the first slot.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 4, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 4, 2008 I would try and update the MB Bios with the other memory that was working and then load setup defaults and set the tested settings Timings ans Voltage and then test with http://www.memtest.org.
