Cosmic
Greetings! I recently bought 4 GB worth of CM2X1024-6400C4PRO XMS2 (version 2.1), and it's smoking. Fastest RAM I've ever owned. I'm extremely happy with it. Anyway, the other day I was cruising around the net looking at some pictures of some other gaming systems and I came across a guy with the exact same RAM as I have, with one difference - the top of his heat sinks had black stickers over the LEDs: http://techgage.com/reviews/corsair/PC2-6400PRO/corsair_pc26400_10_thumb.jpg I thought that was kind of strange, because mine do not. I then noticed that the LED's on my sticks were quite bright, while the pictures of other sticks with the sticker weren't as overbearing when it came to the LED lighting. Seriously, it looks like Rainbow Brite is having a rave in my computer. As I poked around further, I have been unable to find ANY pictures of this RAM without the stickers over the LEDs. Apparently you guys forgot to put them on my sticks (all 4). Now, I don't want to RMA these or anything, they're perfect. I'm just looking for the stickers that go over the top of the LED's. Any idea where I can get some of these? I have no problem purchasing them. Thanks guys! N

Cosmic
Hey RG! Well, I'm back. So I did as you suggested, gave customer service a call. They told me they didn't sell the stickers. After trying to explain to her what I was talking about, she transfered me to technical support (?!). Now that guy knew exactly what I was talking about. He put me on hold a few seconds (apparently to talk to a supervisor), and then told me to send an e-mail to warranty@corsairmemory.com. He told me to tell them what I had told him, and that they'd take care of me. I did that immediately, and got no response. That was nearly two weeks ago. I resent the message again two days ago and still have not heard anything back. RG, think you can help me out? All I want are the 4 stickers that are supposed to go over the LED's on my ram! Haha. Thanks man, C

Cosmic
I did send my original e-mail last Friday before that time, but I have heard absolutely nothing back from anyone. I've sent two e-mails to you already. I think my e-mails are getting blocked or marked as spam perhaps? Can you e-mail me instead? removed Thank you RG! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 15, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 15, 2008 I am sorry about that I have been looking for them and we just do not have them to send you. You can talk to our customer service and see if they can replace them if you want. But if the system is stable with the modules you have I would keep them because we are not making these any more and you might not get the Pro modules back. But if the system is stable with the modules you have I would keep them because we are not making these any more and you might not get the Pro modules back. Ah, well that explains it. I was under the impression you guys still produced the C4Pro modules. Well, I OC'd them to 854Mhz, and they're preforming marvelously with just a little voltage adjustment, so I'll just have to live with Rainbow Brite living in my PC, hah! Thanks again RG, I appreciate the help! If you do ever come across 4 of these stickers, or you can pull them off some bad modules, you have my e-mail! Mail them to me! Thanks again, Neal
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 20, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 20, 2008 The problem is we have moved production off shore and do not have the parts here any more, I did ask for them but was told they are out of stock. Any way sorry about that.
