Rickster8800
Hi, I want to upgrade my computer memory and was thinking about the Twin2X2048-6400C4DHX. I am using an M2N-SLI DELUXE Mobo and had heard that if I try and put 4 gigs of this memory in, it won't work unless I clock it down to DDR 667. Is this true? bigbuck08
If you put 4x1GB then yes, most likely you will have to lower the DRAM speed. If you want 4GB i would suggest this: TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX .
BooGhost
would the TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX run on a M2N SLI Deluxe? for some reason i can't find it in the Memory Configurator http://www.corsairmemory.com/configurator/memory_results.aspx?id=199217 should i just go with the TWIN2X4096-6400C5 (is it the same as the TWIN2X4096-6400C5 G?) ? krazy k
So I get these system hangs and it's aggravating to say the least. I am not overclocked at all now, Memtest x86 says everything is good. But it hangs all the time and I have no idea where else to start. I tried duplicating the settings in the top of this forum but I can seem to find all those fields to change them. I have the same setup with bios version 1302. I just got a stress tester from nvidia for my board, its a new build so I don't think that anything is bad. But nevertheless I'm on my laptop and running out of ideas.
