btacular
Hi, I'm attempting to optimize my system. System: Intel Q6600 (GO) @ 2.4gHz 4GB RAM (four 1GB sticks (matched pairs)) 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1V X38 Chipset I noticed the FSB of my processor is 1066 but my RAM is at 800... Is it advisable to boost my RAM freq to match the CPU or is asynchronous mode fine? Also, if I decide to overclock my CPU in the future, will this RAM be capable of a moderate overclock (to 3.0-3.2gHz). Thanks
bigbuck08
It is rated to run at 800MHz since it is DDR800 RAM and I doubt you will get it to run at 1066MHz.
