krishcanag
Hello I just got myself a HX620, now before removing present PSU and sticking it in I though I will do a quick test on it (nothing connected to it). I felt the fan would not spin on the PSU, which it did not, I checked pin out voltages on a standard 4-pin output, NOTHING!!, now is this PSU dead or is it because it is clever enough to know it has no load to pass current through? Answers would be greatly appricated. thanks
EliteKiller
First, you need to connect something (HDD, case fans, etc.) to the psu and put a load on it. Now use a paper clip and connect the only green wire and a black wire. Flip the switch and hope for the best. :whip: http://www.motherboards.org/images/articles/guides/jumper_wire.jpg

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 31, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 31, 2007 Are you talking about the Clear molex connector on the PSU being faulty? If so then you can email ramguy@corsairmemory.com with your name, address and phone number and request a new molex cable.
